Agleya Kaneva & Alexander Vichev

Agleya Kaneva and Alexander Vichev are 16 and 15 years old, studying at the National School of Music and Performing Arts "Dobrin Petkov" in Plovdiv, specializing in percussion instruments with instructor Pencho Penchev. Three years ago, they formed a percussion duo. In 2023, they have concerts with the Shumen Symphony Orchestra and the Armenian Symphony Orchestra under the conductor Levon Manukyan. Alexander Vichev has been playing since he was six years old. Last year, he was honored with the "Young Musician of the Year 2021" award from the Bulgarian National Radio. He has a rich concert experience, including performances with the Shumen Philharmonic and Razgrad Philharmonic, as well as participation in masterclasses in Ruse, Amsterdam, and Graz. Agleya Kaneva is not only dedicated to percussion instruments but also sings pop and jazz music. She has received numerous awards from international and national music competitions. The greatest reward for the percussion duo Agleya and Alexander is the applause of the audience.
