Agnieszka Dąbrowska-Kras
Dr Agnieszka Dąbrowska-Kras – clarinetist, educator, and content creator.
She graduated with distinction from the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków (Poland) where she also earned her PhD in 2020. A laureate of numerous international competitions, she has performed as a soloist and chamber musician across Europe, collaborating with artists from around the world. Agnieszka is a recipient of the “Young Poland” Scholarship from the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (2014), the Ars Quaerendi Award of the Małopolska for Outstanding Achievements in the Promotion of Culture (2019), and the Musical Eagles Award for Artistic, Academic and Educational Excellence (2024). In 2023, she released the album Spanish Clarinet Music of the 20th Century, featuring clarinet works by renowned Spanish composers. Her current artistic work focuses on the promotion and development of repertoire for the E-flat clarinet through her project Piccolo Re:Vision, which aims to expand the instrument’s solo literature and redefine its presence on the modern concert stage. In 2025, she composed Piccolo Uccello, a solo piece for E-flat clarinet inspired by lightness, and freedom of a bird’s song. Since 2015, she has been teaching clarinet and chamber music at the Oskar Kolberg Music School in Raciechowice. She also promotes classical music in the digital space as a content creator, sharing original performances and educational materials devoted to the piccolo clarinet on Instagram and YouTube.
