Agnieszka Sawicka

Agnieszka Sawicka studied in Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice since 2014 in Robert Kabara class. She graduated with a master degree with distinction in 2019. While studies she took part in many workshops and masterclasses with great artist like Gidon Kremer, Kaja Danczowska, Bartłomiej Nizioł, Piotr Pławner, Jakub Jakowicz. Since 2017 Agnieszka has been a member of The Silesian Chamber Orchestra. In 2019 she won auditions for intership in Baltic Neopolis Orchestra in Szczecin. This intership relied on workshops and performances with great artist like Konstantin Heidrich, Andriy Viytoviych, Vasko Vassilev, Emanuel Salvador. Baltic Neopolis Orchestra toured in Poland, Japan, Portugal, Lithuania, Spain. Agnieszka was awarded in Chamber ensembles audition of Polish schools in Warsaw 2013(1st prize), 2nd Violin Competition- Cieszyn 2013 (distinction), 17th Bohdan Warchal International Competition-Dolny Kubin (Slovakia) 2013 (2nd prize), International Violin Competition „Young Paganini”-Legnica, 2014 - distinction, International Competition „21st century art”-Trencin (Slovakia) 2016 (2nd prize)- chamber category, The Stanislaw Moniuszko International Competition of Polish Music - special prize for the best performance of Milosz Magin composition 2021 - chamber category.
