Ana Karina Voion

Born in 2007 in Iasi, Ana Karina begins studying piano at the age of 5, with PhD Raluca Amariei. In 2013 she became a student of the National College of Art ‘Octav Bancila’ Iasi with PhD Roxana Toma, under the guidance of which she won numerous prizes at national and international competitions, as: • 1st Prize and the Special Prize of the foundation A C C U M at the International Piano competition ‘Frederic Chopin’, Bacau, Romania • 1st Prize at the International Music Competition ‘Grand Prize Virtuoso’ Wien, Austria • 1st Prize at the International Piano Competition ‘Millenium Piano’, Bucharest, Romania • Absolute 1st Prize at the International Competition ‘Young Acadamy Award’, Rome, Italy • 1st Prize at the International Music Competition ‘Dinu Lipatti’, Rome, Italy • Special Prize at the International Musikakademie Anton Rubinstein, Dusseldorf, Germany • In 2014 she is invited to participate in the International Festival ‘George Enescu’, Bucharest, Romania Since 2017, she has been studying piano with Ana Corina Macovei, winnig important awards, such as: • Absolute 1st Prize at the Piano Competition ‘Piano Artis’, Iasi, Romania • 1st Prize and Special Prize ‘Eva Garet’ for the youngest competitor with 100 points at the National Music Competition ‘Lira de aur’, Suceava, Romania • 2nd Prize at the International Piano Competition ‘Ville de Gagny’, Paris, France • 1st Prize – Finalist at the International Competition ‘DoReMi Fest’, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova • 1st Prize and Special Prize – Concert with ‘Oleg Danovski’ Opera and Ballet Theater’s Orchestra at the International Competition Festival for Young Pianists, Constanta, Romania • 3rd Prize at the National Olympics of Vocal, Instrumental and Musical Theoretical Studies, Timisoara, Romania • 1st Prize at Orbetello International Piano Competition – Online Edition • 2nd Prize at Danubia Talents Liszt International Music – Online Edition • 1st Prize at Franz Liszt Center International Competitio – Online Edition • 2nd Prize at the National Olympics of Vocal, Instrumental and Musical Theoretical Studies, Alba-Iulia, Romania • 1st Prize and Special Prize – Concert with Iasi Youth Orchestra at Elite Musicians International Competition In October 2020 she plays for the first time with the Orchestra of the National Opera and Ballet Theatre ‘Oleg Danovski’ Constanta, Romania, conducted by Cristian Brancusi. In August 2021, at the invitation of pianist Raluca Stirbat, Ana Karina participates in the launch concert of the album ‘George Enescu – Complete works for cello and piano’.
