I have no formal music education, but had been in piano classes since I was 10 years old. I later applied to Wichita State University, where I was awarded a scholarship for piano performance. I have delved in composition ever since, without leaving my classical piano and in the end, not having pursued a career in music. Currently I'm a diplomat, representing Colombia in Qatar, but music is always with me.

Composition
Struggle (Lucha), is a piece I did inspired by the feminist protests in my country. As a participant and feminist myself I wanted to have a musical representation of what it meant to be on the streets, and what it felt like.
