Angela Wan

Angela is a high school guzheng performer who has been studying the traditional Chinese zither for the past couple of years. She received a Performance Award at the 2025 Stanford Baipu International Chinese Music Competition, and her performance recording of Liuyang River was selected for presentation at the 2025 Guangdong Guzheng Association Art Exhibition.

She performs with the California Youth Chinese Symphony, including at Los Altos Rotary’s Fine Art in the Park, and mentors younger musicians in the ensemble. She also participates in community and volunteer performances. Through guzheng, Angela enjoys exploring musical interpretation, technical expression, and the rich traditions of Chinese music while sharing its beauty with broader audiences.
