Anika Čemažar

Anika Čemazar, a Slovenian flutist, born in Kranj, Slovenia, in 2002. She is currently pursuing dual bachelor’s degrees in Musical Performance Art (MAK) and Instrumental/Vocal Pedagogy (IGP) at the Gustav Mahler Private University for Music in Klagenfurt, Austria, under the mentorship of Adél Oborzil. She also completed a minor in Early Music with a focus on the Baroque Traverso. Anika has earned gold awards at the North International Music Competition (2023), Fanny Mendelssohn International Competition (2023), and the 15th Ars Nova International Music Competition (2021), among others. Her silver accolades include distinctions at the Danubia Talents (2020) and Città di Palmanova (2019) competitions, … Anika’s artistic growth has been further enriched through masterclasses with world-renowned flutists such as Felix Renggli, Phillipe Bernold, Wally Hase, Davide Formissano, and many others. She actively performs across diverse ensembles, including the Orchestra Academy Toblach (2023), the Carinthian Flutes orchestra, the GMPU Symphony Orchestra, and various chamber groups.
