Chen Siyi

Siyi Chen is a young pianist who demonstrated exceptional musical talent from an early age, winning numerous first prizes in competitions. In 2022, she was admitted to the Royal Academy of Music with a full undergraduate scholarship, where she studies with Colin Stone. Her playing has been praised by Christopher Elton, who described her musicianship as deeply sincere and full of natural sensitivity. Alongside her achievements in classical piano performance, Siyi has a strong interest in contemporary music. She has organised and performed in semi-improvised projects exploring extended instrumental techniques, which have been well received. As a chamber musician, she has collaborated with a wide range of instrumentalists across different ensemble settings, developing a versatile and refined approach to collaborative performance.
