Doah Kim

Doah KKim was born in Daejeon, South Korea in 1992 and received her first violin lessons at the age of 5. since 2011 she has been taking violin lessons with Prof. Jaekwang Song at Ewha womens University in Seoul and since 2017 she has been studying for a master's degree with Prof. Elina Vähälä at the Hocchschule für Musik Karlsruhe. She received masterclass from Olivier Charlier(2014) Gerad Poulet(2017) Isabelle Van Keulen(2015) Christian Altenburger(2021) and Rainer Schmitt(2022) Since 2008, she has been a various competitions in Korea, such as Kyung Hee University competition and Music Education News Competition. And She took part in Karlsruhe School CD recording 'Notturno for String Quartet' with CapricciNo(2021) as String quartet. In addition, she worked in the Duisburg orchester as an academic.

Since 2021 she has been studying for a master's degree with Prof. Anne Shih at the Mainz University of Music and works in the Rheinische Philharmonie state orchestra.
