The Escape Performed by Hypercube: Erin Rogers (saxaphone), Jay Sorce (electric guitar), Andrea Lodge (piano), and Chris Graham (percussion). This fall (2024), I had the opportunity to participate in Hypercube's CubeLab6 for emerging composers. The goal was to create a piece for a contemporary ensemble using extended techniques. I decided to create a piece evoking a daring escape, perhaps the soundtrack to a James Bond-style movie. Many thanks to the members of Hypercube for the opportunity to work with them, and their awesome performance!
