Fors Duo

* Violin, Hwaeun Hani Choi - Hwaeun Hani Choi was born in Gwang-Ju, South Korea in 1994 and started playing the violin at the age of four. From 2010 she studied at the Korean National University of Arts, where she completed her bachelor's degree in 2014 with Prof. Nam-Yun Kim, Koichiro Harada and Yookyung Min. He then completed his master's degree and soloist exams at the Karlsruhe Music Academy with Prof. Elina Vähälä, Maria-Elisabeth Lott, Liza Ferschtman and Anna-Liisa Bezrodny with distinction.Since then, her artistic path has been supported by funding programs and scholarships and has won several prizes, including 1st prize at the Honam Art Competition,CBS Rundfunk Jugend Competition, 2nd prize at the Korea Herald Phoneclassic Competition, Wiener Klassik im Schloss des Kulturfonds Baden e.V. As a soloist and chamber musician she has been invited to various concerts, she won the Kumho Prodigy Concert Audition, she also played a solo recital in the Kumho Art Hall in Seoul and "Zum 200.Sonntag von Clara Schumann" in Baden-Baden, RC charity concert Karlsruhe-Albtal, Deutschlandfunk Kultur, special concert at the open-air festival in Freiburg, Klanges Musicians' district. She then has CD production premiere of Werner Velte at Capriccio. Since 2017 she has been a member of the first violins of the Freiburg Philharmonic Orchestra.

* Piano, Gyeongrim Bok -Gyeongrim Bok was born in 1993 in Daegu, South Korea. In 2017 she completed her bachelor's degree at the University of Keimyung in Daegu with Prof. Dongmin Lim. After completing her master's degree at the Musikhochschule Freiburg with Prof. Alfonso Gomez in 2019 with the best grade. She has won numerous competitions since 2011.In 2022 she won 1st prize at the "Laszlo Spezzi International Music Competition" in Italy. She will start in the winter semester 2022/23 in the Konzertexamen at the University of Music in Münster with Prof. Peter von Wienhardt.
