Francesc Sanchez Macias
I am a classically trained violinist with extensive experience performing with some of Spain’s leading orchestras. Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of orchestration, which has profoundly influenced both my performance practice and compositional voice.
In addition to my work as a performer, I am a musicologist and an opera specialist. My academic background provides me with a rich analytical and historical perspective that informs my artistic decisions. I am also a dedicated educator, teaching violin and harmony to students of all levels, aiming to foster both technical excellence and musical curiosity.
As a composer, I work across a wide range of styles and formats, from contemporary concert music to scores for film and audiovisual media. My music often blends classical structures with modern textures and emotional nuance. I am particularly interested in narrative-driven projects, and I approach each composition as a way to explore human expression, space, and sonic storytelling.
My versatility as an artist allows me to move fluidly between traditional concert settings, interdisciplinary collaborations, and multimedia environments. Whether I’m on stage, in the classroom, or in the studio, I’m committed to creating and sharing music that connects, challenges, and inspires.
