Born in June 2013, Fran began his musical studies at the age of 6 under the guidance of trombonist Salvador Tarrasó at the Centro Instructivo Musical de Mislata, who continues to mentor him to this day. Currently, after achieving top marks in the entrance exams, he is studying the first year of Professional Education at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Valencia, under professor José V. Oliver. In 2023, Fran was awarded 1st prize in the annual competition organized by the CIM of Mislata (Valencia). On January 26, 2023, he performed the world premiere of Sextetum solidario at the “J. Iturbi” Conservatory in Valencia before an audience of 300 people, alongside international trumpet player Rubén Simeó and the Valencia String Quartet. The piece was composed by Valencian composer Juan B. Meseguer. In November of the same year, Fran performed the work again with the same musicians at the CaixaForum in Valencia, as part of an international congress organized by the Spanish Association of Cochlear Implant Users (AICE). In February 2025, he performed with the Philharmonic Orchestra of the University of Valencia (OFUV) at the Palau de la Música in Valencia, in a charity concert featuring Beethoven’s 9th Symphony. In April 2025, he was awarded 1st Prize in the 3rd Edition of the “Challenge us” Competition (Quart de Poblet, Valencia).
