Gianluca Cristofaro

Gianluca Cristofaro is a young italian pianist. He was born in Isernia, Molise. In 2016, he began his piano studies at the State Conservatory of Music "Lorenzo Perosi" in Campobasso, Italy, under the guidance of Maestro Aldo Ragone. During his studies, he attended Masterclasses and courses with internationally renowned pianists like Beatrice Rana, Olaf John Laneri and Tutu Aydinoglu. Winner of several prizes in National and International competitions including the first absolute prize and the jury prize for the "wonderful performance of A.Schonberg six piano pieces Op.19" at the "Kara Karayev Open Music Competition", the first prize at the XXVI International Competition "Rotary Club Teramo Est", the second prize at the XII International Competition "Città di Airola", the first absolute prize with 100/100 at the IV National Competition "Città di Ortona", the first absolute prize with 99/100 at the XVIII National Competition "Città di Bucchianico" and the first prize at the XII National Competition "Mirabello in Musica". He appears on National Television as a guest of the VII edition of the program "Telemolise nel cuore", which aims to award awards to those who have distinguished themselves during the year and have achieved important results. He also appeared on many local newspapers.
