Giselle Ang Zi Qi

Giselle is ten years old, born in December 2012. From a young age, her parents recognized her talent and passion as she expressed a keen interest in music. At the age of four, Giselle was accepted into School of Young Talents at NAFA Academy, where she received a comprehensive music education. Currently, Giselle is studying under the tutelage of Violinist Loh Jun Hong. She is also the youngest member of Singapore National Youth Orchestra (SNYO). Giselle is a very energetic musician. She likes to play expressive music and communicate with people through it. Since the age of six, Giselle began participating in local and international violin competitions. These competitions provided her with valuable performance experience and opportunities to showcase her skills to a wider audience. She has received a numerous competition awards including but not limited to: -First Prize in GSF Singapore Festival 2022 -First Place in King’s Peak International Music Competition 2022 -First Place Winner (Young Musicians Category) – American Protégé International Piano & Strings 2022 -First Prize and Exceptional Young Talent Special Prize Winner of Golden Classical Music Award 2022 -Second Prize in NOMEA competition 2022 -Distinction in ABRSM Grade 8 Violin -First Prize in String Avenue International Autumn 2021 -First Place in Vienna Virtuoso Competition 2021 -Gold Prize & Expressive Performance Special Prize in London Young Musician 2021 -Special Prize in Singapore Violin Festival 2020 and 2019
