Gretchen Kamm

Gretchen Kamm is an 11th grader at Bronx High School of Science and currently studies violin with Xiao Wang at the Manhattan School of Music Precollege Program. Gretchen is a First Prize winner of the Bellagrande International Music Competition, the International Young Artists Competition, Vivo International Music Competition and Rondo Young Artist Festival. She has performed in many venues including Carnegie Hall, Merkin Concert Hall, and Steinway Hall. In 2017, Gretchen was selected to perform in an ensemble with Joshua Bell at the Kaufman Music Center's Gala Concert. She has also participated in Sheryl Staples' Masterclass, which was presented by the Kaufman Music Center and New York Philharmonic.

In addition to her violin studies, Gretchen runs competitively and serves as Captain of her high school's cross country and track team.
