Harper Hu

Harper Hu is a 7 year old year 2 primary school girl studying at Wenona. She started learning piano from the age of 4years and 10months old and has been very passionate in learning piano. She is born for the stage and loves playing for a large audience. Harper has won many piano Eisteddfod competitions in 2024 as per below: 1. Sydney Eisteddfod - 1st place in 20th &21st century in 7 years age section 2. Sydney Eisteddfod - Chopin open age - Highly commended 3. St George Eisteddfod - 1st place in 7 years restricted section 4. St George Eisteddfod - 3rd in Place in 7 years open section 5. St George open age 5-6 grade exam pieces - 2nd place 6. Among many trophy winners, She was also selected to win the special Minte Juwanta Award for 2024 St George Eisteddfod. 7. Wollongong Eisteddfod - 1st prize in 8 years restricted solo piano 8. Wollongong Eisteddfod - 2nd prize in 8years any style solo piano 9. Wollongong Eisteddfod - 3rd prize in 8 years solo piano Moreover, Harper has just awarded A+ High Distinction for her Grade 6 AMEB piano exam and A+ high Distinction for her Grade 2 Theory exam. Harper has won in numerous competitions such as first Prize in Ryde Eisteddfod 2023 when she was 6 years old, 1st Prize in piano competition online both in 2023 and 2024, 1st prize in East West arts Association online competition both in 2023 and 2024 , 3rd prize in St George Eisteddfod 2023. More to piano, Harper has also won public speaking competition in her school. Harper is also a very sporty girl who loves gymnastics and enjoys doing all sorts of tricks. During Harper's leisure time, she loves spending time with animals and owns 11 rabbits, two ducks and 40 fishes at home.
