Hing Yi Sunny Cui

At the age of 8, Hing Yi exhibited an innate talent for oboe and started her music journey. She studied at Beijing Yuying School with Shaoming Tian, the principal oboe of the Chinese National Symphony Orchestra and later on at the Royal Conservatory of Music with Melissa Scott, the principal oboe of the Kingston Symphony Orchestra. To diversify her experience, she joined the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra and played in numerous concerts and recitals. She also participates in the Interprovincial Music Camp annually, where she learns with Sarah Jeffery, the principal oboe of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. With her talent and passion for music, Hing Yi will continue to evolve on her music journey.
