Hiram Gabriel Reátegui López
Hiram Gabriel Reátegui López was born in Tarapoto, Peru, on February 12, 2010. He is 15 years old and has excelled in academic music from a very young age, beginning to study regularly at the age of 8. He also possesses excellent pitch. He currently participates actively in national and international festivals and competitions. Throughout his distinguished artistic career, he has won numerous awards, six of them in his native Peru and 54 international awards in countries such as Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, the USA, Italy, the United Kingdom, England, Singapore, Spain, Poland, Greece, and Austria. Hiram has performed in various venues around the world, including Medellín (2022, 2023, 2024), Bogotá (2023), Buenos Aires (2022), Costa Rica (2024), and Mexico (2024), in addition to three successful performances at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in Manhattan, New York (2024 and 2025). He has also appeared as a solo pianist, accompanied by the Trujillo Symphony Orchestra (2019, 2020, and 2023) and the Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil Orquestando de Lima (2019). Throughout his artistic career, Hiram has received master classes from renowned international teachers such as Kevin Kenner, Michelle Cann, and Michael Baron (USA), Robert Aust (Germany), Irena Kofman (Russia - USA), Marcelo Lyan (USA - Argentina), Nélida Sánchez and Daniel Goldstein (Argentina), Lidia Ivánovna (Russia - Mexico), Manuel Matarrita, Tanya Cordero, and Juan Pablo Andrade (Costa Rica), and Ana María Orduz (Colombia), as well as Peruvian teachers Priscila Navarro, Katia Palacios, and Carlos Arancibia.
