Iv Yunhan Chen

Iv Chen has been studying piano for eight years and has performed in several recitals, presenting works such as Chopin’s Ballade No. 4, Mozart sonatas, and Chopin waltzes. He has a particular interest in both Classical and Impressionist repertoire, enjoying the clarity of Haydn and the colors of Ravel. For this competition, he will perform Haydn’s Sonata in C major, Hob. XVI:48 and Ravel’s Sonatine. Iv continues to refine his artistry and technique, with a focus on communicating music’s expressive power to audiences.
