Jachimczak & Wiśniewski Piano Duo

The piano duo Klara Jachimczak& Bartosz Wisniewski was formed in 2019, studying under the direction of prof. BognaCzerwińska-Szymula. The pianists are students of the S. Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdansk. The musicians have been awarded at, among others, the 2nd International Online Instrumental Performance Competition (1st prize - Toronto/Canada), the 1st International Viennese Spring Music Competition (1st prize - Vienna/Austria). They actively participate in master classes and chamber music courses, collaborating with outstanding pedagogues such as prof. Volker Stenzl (Germany), prof. AvedisKouyoumdjian (Austria/Liban) prof. Thamar Zhvania(Georgia) prof. Katarzyna Jankowska-Borzykowska (Poland). The ensemble also promotes chamber music by acting on the board of the Chamber Music Academic Circle of the Music Academy in Gdansk. The musicians have organized a number of artistic events such as the 4th All-Polish Artistic and Scientific Conference "GramyRazem" (We Play Together) and a series of concerts "Chamber Musicians at Uphagen", spreading the performance of chamber music among the student community in Gdansk.
