Jana Bojanowski was born in Germany in 2010. She received her first cello lessons at the age of four at the Baden Conservatory in Karlsruhe. Since 2019, she is a student of Prof. Ivan Monighetti in Basel.

In 2019, she was accepted as the youngest participant in the master class at the Carl Flesch Academy Baden-Baden in the class of Prof. Wolfgang Boettcher. She is a scholarship holder of the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein and takes part in the intensive weeks and activities that take place there. She takes part in master classes of Prof. Ivan Monighetti.

Since 2016, Jana has been taking part regularly in the competition “Jugend Musiziert” and has received 1st prizes with the highest number of points in her age group, most recently in 2022 in the solo ranking at the state competition.

Since 2020 she is a scholarship holder of the Riemschneider Foundation.
