Jiafan Chen

Jiafan Chen (China) A native of Quanzhou, Fujian, Jiafan Chen is currently studying at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. She has received piano lessons from Ran Jia,Moye Chen and Cheung-yu Mo successively. She began her piano study at the age of five and previously studied at and graduated from the Kulangsu Piano School Affiliated to Central Conservatory of Music, where she studied with Yingjia Xue. During her teenage years, she was awarded the "Pearl River·Kawai" scholarships several times. She has won the first prize from the 19th Hong Kong–Asia International Piano Open Competition and the second prize from the 4th Rönisch Internationale Klavierwettbeverb. In 2017-19, she was consecutively invited to perform in the concert seasons of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra. In 2021 and 2024, she returned to the Shanghai Concert Hall for her recitals and was invited as a guest artist to perform in the concert season of the Suzhou Bay Grand Theater. In addition, she has frequently performed at the Quanzhou Grand Theater. In 2025, she was also shortlisted for the 74th ARD International Music Competition.
