Jin Young PARK

Jin-Young Park Renowned violinist Park Jin-Young, acclaimed by judges for her meaningful linguistic expression and bold performance skills, graduated with top honors from the Pre-course for Korean National University of Arts at Yewon School and the Conservatory National Region of Paris Superieur course. Subsequently, she earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSM) and completed her doctoral degree at Seoul National University's College of Music in August 2022, with a dissertation titled "Analysis and Interpretative Study of Henryk Wieniawski's Fantaisie Brillante sur des motifs de l'opéra 'Faust' de Gounod, Op. 20." Having won numerous first prizes in domestic music competitions such as those organized by the Music Critic Association and Music Journal, Park Jin-Young has showcased her talent globally through invitations to perform in renowned venues and festivals, including Kloster Schöntal in Germany and Bordeaux and Colmar in France. She has also held solo recitals at prestigious locations like Paris-Cité international des Arts and the Paris City Hall. Recognized as the recipient of the 29th Music Journal New Artist Award and as an emerging artist by the Lotte Cultural Foundation, Park Jin-Young has collaborated with various orchestras and ensembles, including the Seoul Symphony Orchestra and the Philharmonic Orchestra of Goyang. She is highly regarded not only as a soloist but also as a chamber musician, having received guidance from esteemed mentors such as Guillaume Sutre of the Ébène Quartet and pianist Itamar Golan. Currently, Park Jin-Young is an active member of Trio Laffiné and the Seoul Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, while also serving as a faculty member at the Gye-won Arts Middle School and teaching at high schools such as Goyang Arts High School, Yewon School, and Seoul Arts High School. Featured on programs like Jang Il-Beom's K-Classic World and the classical music channel Orfeo TV, she continues to engage with audiences through a diverse repertoire, fostering musical dialogue and communication.
