Jinling Piao

Miss Jinling Piao is a young pianist in Germany. Her performance can be heard very frequently at numerous music festivals, art festivals and concerts in Germany, the Netherlands, Italy and other European countries, where audiences are drawn in by her exquisite performances.

Miss Piao was born in a family that loves music. From an early age she first learned to play the piano from her mother. At the age of six, she played with Ms. Xiaoge Guan and Yuan Wu Professor of the China Central Conservatory. Later, Miss Piao entered the elementary school and then the middle school of the China Central Conservatory with top grades. She studied with famous professors Manchun Chen, Jinghuang Yao, Chun Wang and Taiwanese pianist Jie Zheng. During her time at the school she has always attended a large number of concerts and festivals. She was invited to the Liszt Festival, the Chopin Festival in the Zhongshan Concert Hall, the Chinese National Theater in Beijing, and several other theaters.

After that, Miss Piao began to study piano in Germany at the Detmold University of Music with the renowned Dutch piano Professor Bob Versteegh. She then studied at the Robert Schumann University in Düsseldorf with Professor Lisa Smirnova. As the first Asian student of the Austrian-Russian pianist, Miss Piao completed her bachelor's degree with top marks. Finally, she was admitted to the Folkwang University of the Arts for a master's degree and now is studying with the pianist Prof. Henri Sigfridsson.

During her studies in Europe, Miss Piao was invited to the internationally renowned Ruhr Piano Festival 2019. After her successful performance, she then played in a concert in the historic Lichtenau Castle.

In recent years, ten piano recitals by Miss Piao have been performed in famous concert halls both in China and Europe, such as the Schumann Hall and the Partika Hall in Düsseldorf, the Centennial Hall in Bochum, the Brahms Hall in Detmold, the Musiksaal im Chinese National Theater and Zhongshan Hall, etc.

Furthermore, she was invited to several master classes with pianists such as Georg Friedrich Schenck, Klaus Hellwig, Eldar Nebolsin, Dmitri Alexeev, Michel Béroff, etc.

On August 26, 2022, Miss Piao was invited to play Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 21 in the Cathedral of Brescia.
