Julian Brodski
Julian Brodski was born in Rome in 1998; under the guidance of Maestro Federico Mondelci, with whom he still continues to study, he obtained a specialist degree in saxophone at the G.Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro, with a score of 110 cum laude with honorable mention. He was member of “Umbri Jazz Band“ with which he performed in different events: Gubbio Summer Festival, Federico Cesi Festival, Rzeka muzyki (Bydgoszcz, Poland), 25th anniversary Centrum Paderewskiego (Poland). He has also been invited to perform as a soloist with numerous symphony orchestras and has an intense and rich concert activity in Poland; orchestras include: Benevento Conservatory Orchestra, Sanremo Symphony Orchestra, Gdańsk chamber orchestra “Cappella Gedanensis”, Filharmonia Warmińsko-Mazurska, Carpathian Philharmonic of Rzeszów, Filharmonia Zabrzańska, Symphonic Orchestra Karol Namysłowskiego of Zamość. He has taken part in various masterclasses held by Maestros Nikita Zimin and Arno Bornkamp, and is currently a member of two elite musical ensembles on the Italian and international music scene: "Italian Saxophone Orchestra" and "Italian saxophone quartet" with which he has played in festivals such as : "Classical Music Festival of the Palaces of St. Petersburg" (Russia), "Mirrors 40th Portogruaro International Music Festival", "International Chamber Music Festival 2021 of the Stadler Association", music day organized by the Italian Cultural Institute of Dublin, Marche Festival, Playout XIX festival of Contempoartensemble, Visions in Music, Uto Ughi for young people and many others. With the formation "Perugia Saxophone" he participated in the Festival dei 2 Mondi in Spoleto; he also performed, again as a soloist, in the Penderecki European Music Center in Luslawice (Poland), in the royal castle and in the royal theater in Warsaw for the Polish Ministry of Funds and Regional Policies; and for the inauguration of the 2020 concert season of the "Friends of Music" of Foligno. He was the winner of the LAMS Matera Award 2020 (Matera, Italy); OPUS 2021 Competition (Krakow, Poland) ; MUSE Award Competition 2021 (Athens, Greece); Giovani in Crescendo 2023 (Pesaro, Italy) and also of a scholarship at the G.Rossini Conservatory of Pesaro. He was also a finalist of the Aeolous competition 2022 (Düsseldorf) of the national arts prize 2020, of the R30 Sax Contest 2021 and of the “Thomas Kuti” competition organized by the “Lions Club” (2021).
