Kitija Mināte

Kitija is a young singer from Latvia, currently pursuing her studies in Graz under the guidance of Professor Elena Pankratova. She received vocal training in Latvia with Associate Professor Andžella Goba and vocal pedagogue Rudīte Ruško.

Her most significant stage experiences include performances with the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music’s Opera Studio Figaro, the Gertrude Street Theatre, and the Latvian National Theatre, as well as various concert performances.

Her stage experience also includes other important roles, such as Baba in I. Stravinsky’s The Rake’s Progress (2022) and Amaranta in La Molinara by Giovanni Paisiello (2019-2022). From her first year of studies in Latvia, she has regularly participated in productions by the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music’s Opera Studio Figaro.

Concert performances include i.a. the alto part in A. Vivaldi’s Gloria (2023) and W. A. Mozart’s Missa Brevis (2021), both conducted by Aigars Meri.
