Kotryna Petrigh

Kotryna began her musical journey at Kaunas 1st Music School in 2023. From her very first years at the piano, her musical sensitivity, determination, and remarkable progress became evident. Due to her excellent results and rapid development, Kotryna was given the opportunity to skip one year of study, and she is now entering her fourth year of musical education.

Although still at the beginning of her musical path, Kotryna has already gained extensive stage and competition experience. She has participated in numerous national and international piano competitions, both live and online, where her performances have been recognised with First Prizes and Grand Prix awards.

One of the most significant achievements of her recent competition season was receiving a Grand Prix at an international piano competition in Italy — an especially meaningful recognition of her dedication and artistic growth.

Behind these achievements lies much more than talent: great dedication, a deep love for music, and countless hours spent at the piano. With every new piece, Kotryna continues to discover her own musical voice, learning not simply to perform music, but to communicate its character, emotion, and story.

The 2026–2027 season brings an especially important milestone in her young artistic journey. Kotryna has been invited to perform with an orchestra at the Kaunas State Philharmonic — her first opportunity to experience the unique dialogue between a solo pianist and an orchestra on one of Kaunas’ most important concert stages.

For Kotryna, this performance represents both a recognition of everything she has accomplished so far and the beginning of a new chapter.

With determination, sensitivity, and a genuine love for music, she continues her journey — one note, one stage, and one dream at a time.
