Lara Eberitzsch

Lara Eberitzsch was born in Karlsruhe in 2011. She has been taking violin lessons with Yefim Shkolnyk since 2016 and, since 2025, has been studying in the pre-college program at the Karlsruhe University of Music under Prof. Laurent Albrecht Breuninger. She has successfully participated in numerous music competitions, winning first prize—always with the highest possible score—eleven times in the solo and chamber music categories of the "Jugend musiziert" competition at both regional and state levels. In 2024 she won 1st prize with the highest score in the category Duo Piano and a String Instrument at the national competition of “Jugend musiziert” and played at the final concert of the 1st national prize winners in Lübeck. In 2025, she again won first prizes in both the solo and piano trio categories at the "Jugend musiziert" national competition. Back in 2021, she won third prize in the violin and piano duo category at the national Carl Bechstein Competition in Berlin, making her one of the youngest participants in her age group to achieve this. Lara won the Gold Prize for chamber music at the 2024 "Classical Stars" International Music Competition and another Gold Prize for violin solo at the 2025 Amadeus International Music Awards. She has participated in masterclasses with Prof. Markus Stange (2023), Prof. Dr. Saule Tatubaeva (2024), Prof. Roberto Domingos (2024), Prof. Sontraud Speidel (2025), and Prof. Elena Graf (2025). She has played in the Baden-Württemberg State Youth Orchestra since April 2025, serving as concertmaster since 2026. In 2025, she performed in the festival orchestra alongside Igor Levit at the "Festival der Nationen." She performed various solo concertos with the Weiherfelder Chamber Orchestra (2024 and 2025), the Sinfonieorchester 1837 Bruchsal, and the Waldstadt Chamber Orchestra (2026). Since 2024, Lara has played a violin by Carlo Ferdinando Landolfi (Milan, 1750), on loan from the Baden-Württemberg State Collection. She is a scholarship recipient of the Riemschneider Foundation and the Jürgen Ponto Foundation.
