Leonor Cirne
I´m a Portuguese violinist currently attending the 7th Grade of Violin at the Professional School of Music of Espinho, where I´m enrolled in the Professional Course for String Instrument Performers under the guidance of Professor Nuno Soares. I was awarded the Merit and Excellence Prize and achieved the highest final mark in Violin at 5th grade. Despite my young age, I have developed an intense artistic activity, performing regularly as First Violin with the Orquestra Clássica de Espinho and appearing as concertmaster in several orchestral and chamber music projects. I have collaborated with conductors, soloists and artists such as Elicia Silverstein, Pedro Neves, Katharina Wincor, Michael Foyle, Kandace Springs, Angélique Kidjo and A Garota Não. My musical training has been enriched through masterclasses with distinguished violinists and pedagogues including Boris Kuchnir, Sergei Dogadin, Daniel Rowland, Michael Foyle, Roberto Valdés, Jorge Orozco and Eliseu Silva, among others. In 2026, I was selected for the European Youth Orchestra Academy (EYOA), to be held in Mannheim, Germany, and was also admitted to the prestigious Mozarteum Sommerakademie in Salzburg, where I will further develop my artistic and technical skills in an international environment. I´m passionate about music, approaching each performance with commitment, sensitivity and artistic curiosity. I seek to combine technical excellence with expressive depth and continue to develop my musical identity through orchestral, chamber music and solo performance experiences.
