Lixuan Wang

My name is Lixuan Wang. I'm 20 years old. I was born in a musical family in Beijing, China. I have been learning the piano from my mother (a Chinese piano educator). At the age of five, I performed publicly on stage for the first time. I performed many times at the Beijing Music Festival and also took part in numerous competitions and concerts, including appearances on China Central Television and Beijing Radio & Television Station. I was also invited to perform at Carnegie Hall and won awards there. I also took master classes with Guangren Zhou, Andrzej Jasiński, Wojciech Świtała, Natalie Zhu and Curtis Master Class etc. I created my own social media channel, posting videos of my playing and practicing to promote classical music on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and the Chinese website Bilibili, among others. In September 2023, I went to Paris for a study tour; in December, I was exceptionally admitted with the highest scholarship, beginning my Artist Diploma at the École Normale de Musique de Paris. In June 2025, I graduated from École Normale de Musique de Paris, obtaining an Artist Diploma, and become the youngest Artist Diploma recipient in China.

Art activity: During Primary School: Beijing Haidian District Art Festival, Chorus Festival, and on Sunday, Easter and Christmas: Church Hymn Choir Piano accompaniment. July 2017: Master Class in Beijing, studied with Andrzej Jasiński, Wojciech Świtała, Klaus Baessler, Alexander Schimpf, Maria Murawska etc. March 2018: Participated in Yamaha Piano Performance and won the Title of "YAMAHA Piano Expert", July 2020: Participated in Curtis Summerfest (Young Artist Summer Program), studying with Rieko Aizawa, Anna Plonsky, etc. August 2021: Participated in Curtis Mentor Network Summer Session 2, and Curtis Mentor Network Audition Prep Session, studying with Natalie Zhu, Pallavi Mahidhara etc. October 2021: Performed at "Touching China" annual gala on China Central Television (CCTV). February 2022: Performed at Beijing Radio & Television Station (BRTV). March 2023: Gave a solo piano concert at the Steinway Art Center in Beijing. June 2024: Performed in Portugal, and Concert at Salle Cortot. October 2024: Performed in Krakow. November 2024: Concert at Salle Cortot. April 2025: Performed at Bibliothèque Polonaise (in Paris). November 2025: I became a council member of the Musicians Association of Fengtai District, Beijing. January 2026: Performed at the Dongyi TV Studio Hall in Beijing. March 2026: Gave a solo piano concert at the Kawai France Center in Paris and I award conferred the title of "Kawai Artist".
