Logan Yi Heng Chan
Eighteen year old Logan Chan began piano lesson at the age of five. In 2018 he was accepted into the Sydney Conservatorium of Music’s Open Academy Rising Stars Program, studying with Dr. Natalia Andreeva. Logan is currently studying year 11 in Sydney Conservatorium High School major in piano with Young Kwon Choi. Logan also joined the Richard Bonynge Ensemble in Penrith Conservatorium as pianist in 2023 and Australian Youth Orchestra in 2026. Between 2020-2025, Logan has won number of prizes in the eisteddfods nationally and in international competitions, and he also participated many musical performances during the years. Logan Piano Competition Achievements 2021: 1. 1st Prize in Little Mozarts Competition, 2. Grand Prize and ‘Stars of Tomorrow’ award in Chinese Central Television (CCTV) Youth Talents Music Competition, 3. 2nd Prize in Sydney Eisteddfod Piano 13 years old Recital Award, 4. 3rd Place in King’s Peak International Competition, and 5. 3rd Prize in New Talent British International Youth Music Competition. 2022: 1. 1st Prize Winner in Sydney Eisteddfod 14 years old Recital Award, 2. 2nd Prize in Sydney Eisteddfod all age Russian Piano Award, 3. 2nd Prize in Steinway & Son Youth Piano Competition Australia, and 4. 2nd Prize in the Classical Piano category of the 2022 American Music Talent Competition. 2023: 1.
