Luigi Toma

Luigi Toma (born in 2000) At the age of 15, he was admitted to the Accademia Musicale Varesina as a pupil of Paola Del Negro. He later continued his musical education with Giuseppe Merli and Roberto Villa. He is currently attending the Bachelor’s degree course in Engineering for Work and Environmental Safety at the University of Insubria in Varese, as well as the Bachelor’s degree course in Piano at the Conservatory of Music of Como, in the class of Daniela Manusardi. In the previous year, he was awarded prizes in both competitions he attended. He won third prize and the special prize for the best performance of a work by a female composer at the piano competition “Allegro Molto – Città di Mozzate” (1st edition). He also won first prize at the Ariano Online International Piano Competition 2025. Throughout his musical training, he has attended several piano masterclasses with internationally renowned pianists such as Pietro De Maria, Andrea Bambace, and Dario Bonuccelli, and has performed at the Accademia Tadini in Lovere (BG, Italy), Villa Medici Giulini in Briosco (MB, Italy), and Palazzo Arese Borromeo in Cesano Maderno (MB, Italy). He has also taken part in the 2024 and 2025 editions of Piano City Milano and in the Conservatory concert seasons with the project “The Preludes of Claude Debussy”.
