MacKhoi Anthony Hoang

MacKhoi is a senior high school student of William Mason High School. His pianistic artistry was shaped under the guidance of Sergei Polusmiak, an accomplished pianist and educator who served as a professor of piano at the Kharkiv Institute of Arts in Ukraine and later at Northern Kentucky University. Under Polusmiak’s mentorship, MacKhoi developed a refined approach to piano performance and deepened his musical understanding. Over his competitive piano career, MacKhoi has earned prestigious regional and international distinctions.

Recognized as an exceptional young musical talent, MacKhoi was invited to perform as a pianist at Carnegie Hall in New York City in 2021. He returned to Carnegie Hall in 2024 as a violinist, performing with his school's Philharmonic & Honors Symphony Orchestras. These experiences reflect his versatility as a young musician and his dedication to developing both his piano artistry and broader musicianship.

Outside of music, he serves as an Executive Director of ScioVirtual, a nationwide educational nonprofit that provides science courses to students in the USA.
