Mako Inabetsu

My name is Mako INABETSU. I am a Japanese oboe player (born in 1998). I am studying with Eric SPELLER and Sébastien VANLERBERGHE at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, master's course, from September 2021. I am 2nd oboist at the Romantics Belgian chamber orchestra from 2024, and I am academy student of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Liège (in Belgium) for the year 2024-2025. I graduated from Kyoto Horikawa Music High School (in Japan) in March 2017, and I graduated from Doshisha Women’s College of Liberal Arts (in Japan) with a bachelor’s course (Music department) in March 2021. I took Master class of Romana Mazakova, Thomas Indermühle, Olivier Doise, Sébastien Giot, David Walter and Nicolas Daniel. In 2018, I took incentive award of 34th Junior classical music competition in Japan (in the university student section) and 5th prize of the 28th Japan classical music competition. In June 2020, I awarded the Aoyama Music Foundation Scholarship and the Masako Ishimura prize (the highest award of winds, strings and percussions in the Doshisha Women’s college). In 2021, I awarded the Doshisha Women's College of Liberal Arts Scholarship for overseas study.
