Marcell Bartha

Curriculim Vitea My name is Bartha Marcell, I'm 13 years old, I was born on August 31, 2010 in Mohács. I live in Hungary, in Magyarbóly.

I have liked music since I was very young. My parents noticed my musicality and enrolled me in a music school when I was 8 years old. I started playing the trumpet then. A few of my classmates played the piano, which I admired truly. After three years of playing the trumpet , I started to play the piano instead. I've been playing the piano for three and a half years now. I am dedicated, I really like playing music, I practice with lots of enhusiasm. I go to Pécs, to the Liszt Ferenc Music School, Ildikó Megyimóreczné Schmidt is my teacher. I started competing piano in Budapest in September 2021. My competition results: September 2021: Carpathian Basin International Piano Competition Budapest, II. place November 2021: X. György Ferenczy Piano Competition (International Chopin Piano Competition) Budapest, II. place December 2021: VI. Danubia Talents International Music online competition, II. place March 2022: XVI. National Piano Competition Nyíregyháza, II. place September 2022: Hajós Piano Competition of Baroque Works, Gold Medal Premio and Special Award November 2022: Ferenc X. Farkas Piano Competition in Dunakeszi, 1st place and Gala performance April 2023: VII. Music Magic Four-Hand Piano Competition, Budapest Nivo prize I participated in several courses at the Academy of Music in Budapest, and this summer I also participated in the 36th International Music Camp. On October 20, 2022, I performed at the Kodály Center in Pécs on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of our music school. On October 2, 2023, I also performed at the Kodály Center on the occasion of the International Day of the Elderly. I owe a lot to my teacher, Ildikó Megyimóreczné Schmidt, with whom I really enjoy working together.
