Martyna Bauer
In 2022, Martyna Bauer graduated with honors from the State Secondary Music School in Częstochowa in the tuba class of Piotr Szlacheta, MA. The culmination of her studies was the Diploma Winners' Concert, where she performed as a soloist with the Częstochowa Philharmonic Orchestra. She is currently a third-year undergraduate student at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in the tuba class of Krzysztof Mucha, DMA. She is a laureate of numerous national and international competitions, including: 1st Prize: International Wind Instrument Competition in Wrocław (2021) 1st Prize: OPUS International Music Competition (2022) 1st Prize: Small Forms Competition at the Academy of Music in Wrocław (2023) Gold Award: Finalis International Wind Instrument Competition in Białystok (2023) 1st Prize: World’s Best Musician Competition (2023) 1st Prize: 4th Lugano International Music Competition (2024) 3rd Prize: International Interpretative Competition for Wind Instruments in Brno (2024) Gold Award: 7th Finalis International Competition for Wind and String Instruments (2025) Martyna has collaborated with orchestras such as Sinfonia Varsovia, Sinfonia Iuventus, the Lower Silesian Philharmonic, the Sudeten Philharmonic, the Koszalin Philharmonic, the Warmian-Masurian Philharmonic, and the National Wind Orchestra. She has performed under the baton of eminent conductors, including Marek Pijarowski, José Maria Florêncio, Yaroslav Shemet, Ewa Strusińska, Piotr Rubik, Antoni Wit, Aleksandar Marković, Zsolt Nagy, Maciej Tomasiewicz, Patrick Fournillier, Kaspar Zehnder, and Julien Masmondet. Additionally, Martyna has taken part in prestigious festivals such as La Folle Journée de Nantes, the Crazy Days of Music Festival in Warsaw, the Eufonie International Music Festival of Central-Eastern Europe, and the "Music Gardens" Festival.
