Mary Kate Onggowijoyo

Mary Kate Onggowijoyo is a young talented musician born in 2014. She started her piano lesson at the age of 5, then her interest started to grow on violin a year later. Currently, the 8 year Mary Kate is mastering piano, violin, cello, and singing as well. During the first year of her violin lesson with Miss Vivi Tamara, she has won several local and national competitions in Indonesia. She also has masterclass with Mrs Therese Wirakesuma (Indonesia), Mr. Egaputra Tweedapinta (Indonesia), and Ms. Chikako Sasaki (Japan). Mary started to be curious about international competition and started joining them in 2022. She has won several competitions, some are: 1st winner of 13th World Open Music Competition (violin junior category as Excellent Performer with score 90/100), chosen as the finalist of 10th Hong Kong International Youth Performing Arts Festival 2023 after winning Diamond Award at Indonesia Winter Festival, Gold Prize for London Young Music Competition 22-23 season 3 Young Talent, and the latest is Gold winner of 7th Brilliant Talent Discovery Awards which gala winner concert will be on this April 18th at Singapore. Mary won gold prize at World Classical Music Award at 2023.
