Matijn Duo

Mathijs and me are both students at Royal Conservatory of Brussels with Professors Bart Quartier, Gert François and Bart Bouckaert . We were asked to join Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra on a China tour this december , january. In december 2025 we also joined a premier performance in Antwerp named " symphony for 100 citizens" . This January we were asked to join the percussion festival in Bozar where we performed Earth Ears by Paulina Oliveros. Our personal repertoire goes to Time for Marimba by Minoru Miki , Vibra Elufa by Stockhausen, Kontakte by Stockhausen. King of Denmark by Morton Feldman, Impressions by Nicolas Martinciow... Mathijs joined the Flanders Youth Orchestra, I joined the Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands last year. On the annual percussion concert of Royal Concervatory of Brussels we performed Jose before John ⁵ by Aurel Hollo, Airmass by Wentchi Tsai , Parade by Guo Wenjing , 1st construction by Cage and so on..
