Michał Lipski
Michał Lipski (born 18th Dec. 2000 in Inowrocław) - pianist, composer and music theoretician. In 2019 he graduated with honours from the Czesław Niemen State Secondary Music School in Włocławek in the piano class. In 2022 he received a bachelor’s degree in composition (as a student in Professor Bettina Skrzypczak's class) and followed it up by completing his master's degree in music theory at the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz in 2024. Michał Lipski is the author of numerous compositions for various lineups. His creative endeavours are especially highlighted by his recent song and music scores for children's theatre plays (Tola's Birthday Adventure, 2022; Puss in Boots, 2023; Hansel and Gretel, 2025). In 2020, he won second place in the Fifth National Piotr Perkowski Composition in Toruń (prize for his piece Tango for String Orchestra and Percussion, 2025). In 2022 he repeated the result in the next edition of the competition (prize for his piece Burlesque for String Orchestra and Percussion). In 2024 he earned a distinction in the National AkoPoznań Competition (for his piece Suite from Kurpie for Accordion Orchestra).
