Mikołaj Godzina
Mikołaj Godzina was born in 2007 in Wrocław, Poland. He began learning to play the piano at the age of seven in OSM I i II st. im. K. Szymanowskiego in Wrocław in the piano class of Izabela Dulińska-Bolsewicz. Mikołaj achieves excellent academic results in both music and general education subjects. He is a laureate of numerous piano competitions, and his latest achievements include: • Francesca Lebrun International Music Competition – Platinum Prize in the “Young Artist” category and the Exceptional Technique Special Award, as well as the Platinum Prize and Exceptional Teamwork Special Award in the piano duet category. • Servaas International Online Music Competition – First Prize in category E. • XVII National Miniature Piano Competition “Łowiecki” – First Place and an invitation to the Young Talents Festival “Hand in Hand with Chopin” in Duszniki-Zdrój. • PicaSchubert International Music & Art Competition – Platinum Prize in the “Young Artist” category and the Outstanding Interpretation Special Award. • World Grand Prix International Music Contest – Absolute First Prize and the Excellent Musicality Award in the “Young Artists” category. • 13th World Open Music Competition (Serbia) – First Prize. • 3rd Franz Liszt Center International Piano Competition – First Prize. • International Music Competition (Lugano, Switzerland) – First Prize in the piano duet category. • World Grand Prix International Music Contest – Absolute First Prize and the Excellent Musicality Award in the “Young Artists” category. • National Piano Competition “Zimowe Impresje 2” (Kraków) – Second Place.
Mikołaj confirmed his extraordinary technical and interpretative skills, gaining recognition on international stages.
Mikołaj has been awarded the President of Wrocław Scholarship for creativity and artistic education for young, talented individuals from Wrocław (2016–2023). He has honed his skills by participating in piano workshops led by outstanding educators, including Prof. Anna Wesołowska-Firlej, Prof. Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just, Prof. Andrzej Tatarski, Prof. Andrzej Pikuła, Prof. Mirosław Herbowski, and Prof. Karol Radziwonowicz.
