Mio Nakamura

Mio Nakamura is 11 years old. She started learning piano when she was 3 years old with Ms. Miyo Honya ,Mr.Takashi Yamamoto in Japan.

At 7 years old, Mio made her concerto debut with the Silesian Philharmonic Orchestra in Poland. At 11 years old,She performed in a winner’s concert at Carnegie Hall in U.S.A. She has been actively performing in public, at competitions and various concerts.

She took master classes and private lessons with Prof. Piotr Paleczny, Prof. Philippe Giusiano, Prof. Magdalena Lisak, Prof.Henri Barda , Prof.Ives Henry and more.

In 2020,She won first prize and Musical Director Special Prize at “The 30th Young Musician International Competition citta di barletta” in Italy, 1st absolute prize at “The 10th International Competition Milan Piano Talents ” in Italy, 1st prize at “Danubia talents” in Hungary. In 2021, She won 1st prize at “American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition” in USA. In 2022, She won 1st prize at “ London Youth Piano Competition” in England and 1st prize at “The 23rd OSAKA International Music Competition” in Japan. She received many numerous other awards.

It has been a great opportunity for her to experience the world, and to get a deeper appreciation of the wonderfulness of music.
