Nadia Dusza

Artistic Biography of the candidate Nadia Dusza:

I am 15 years old and I am a student of the Primary and Secondary State Music School Complex in Gorlice. I.J. Paderewski, where I learn to play the saxophone with teacher Krzysztof Bagnicki. My successes began 3 years ago, when I received an invitation to the 3rd Polish Saxophone Congress in Poznań, where the best young saxophonists from all levels of education, first and second degree music schools, as well as students and graduates present themselves. The following months were a series of competitions and festivals, where in just 35 days I won competitions four times in my age categories: - 1st place and special prize of the Jury at the 12th Wind Instrument Confrontations in Nowy Targ on March 3, 2022. ; - 1st place at the 6th Świętokrzyski Festival of Wind Instrument Classes from Music Schools in Kielce, March 10-13, 2022; - 1st place at the 4th Małopolska Saxophone Festival in Łososina Dolna, April 22-24, 2022; - 1st place at the 15th National Jupiter Wind Instrument Competition in Krakow, April 23-24, 2022, and obtained the highest score among all competition participants, thus winning the highest award - GRAND PRIX;

- 3rd prize at the 5th Warsaw Festival Musical miniature for woodwind and brass instruments 2022;

- obtained a Certificate of Participation in the 25th International Music Interpretation Course. Barbara Halska, July 18-August 5, 2022;

- 2nd place AT the 20th National Cometition for Young Soloist In Jaworzno, November 23-25, 2022; - 1st prize at the International Saxophone Festival in Przeworsk, December 6-9, 2022;

- 1st prize at the International Competition ,,Classical Music Stars” 7th January 2024

- 1st prize at the Concours International ,,Nouveles Etoilles” January 2024

- 1st prize at the National Saxophone Competition In Łódź, April 2024

- 1st prize at theII National Instrumental Competition "VIRTUOSO!"Toruń, 15-30,April 2024

- 1st prize at the V Małopolska Saxophone Festival, Łososina Dolna, 16-19.05.2024

- Special mention at XVIII International Competition for woodwind instruments, 28-30.11.2024
