Nar Kaya

7-year-old pianist Nar Kaya was born in Istanbul, Turkey. She began her piano education at the age of 3 with the Vienna State Opera and Vienna Symphony Orchestra artist, Nazlı Ruta. Guided by the philosophies of the Vienna and French Schools, Nar has extensively studied the pedagogical methods of Czerny, Hanon, and Skale as well as improvisation. After a year of intensive training, she gave her first recital when she was 4 years old. Nar has been continuing her piano education as a student of Sviatlana Duran at Istanbul University State Conservatory since 2023. Nar has obtained many prizes in national/international competitions and has participated in masterclasses with world-class musicians such as Gülsin Onay, Hande Dalkılıç and Emre Şen. Aside from piano, Nar also enjoys painting, cycling, and reading.
