Nikki Arsenault

The finalist of the Virtuose 3 show, the CANIMEX and Quebecor prize recipient, 24 year-old flutist based in Montreal, Nikki Arsenault participates in musical competitions since 2017. At the Sherbrooke Music Festival-Competition, the FHOSQ Soloists and Small Ensembles Competition, Competition of Music of Canada-CANIMEX, she won gold and silver medals with special prizes.

The young musician has now completed her bachelor's degree at McGill University with Mr. Albert Brouwer, with whom Nikki began her flute studies in 2012. She completed her college studies at Cégep de Saint-Laurent with Diane Caplette.

In 2017, Nikki appeared as a soloist with the ensemble Les Cordes-à-Vent in Sutton and Dunham, QC. At the first edition of the Con Brio competition, Nikki has won a gold medal and a prize which allowed her to join the Quatrouvailles Quartet on the stage in 2018. In summer 2019-2023, she did musical internships at Orford Musique. In 2020, Nikki won the iMusici challenge, which allowed her to play as a soloist the CPE Bach's Concerto in D minor with the iMusici orchestra of Montreal. Nikki has had masterclasses with Emmanuel Pahud, Robert Langevin, Jeffrey Khaner, Christian Delafontaine, Michael Cox, Alexa Still, Denis Bluteau and piccolo lessons with Christopher James.
