Oreva Esalomi

Oreva Esalomi is a 17-year-old junior at Bellevue High School in Bellevue, Washington. She was formerly a joint first study piano and clarinet junior exhibitioner at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. She has studied clarinet with Neyire Ashworth, and has completed her ABRSM clarinet diploma with distinction. She is currently the principal clarinetist in the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra. In addition, Oreva has participated in a number of competitions and festivals namely the Hastings Young Musician competion where she was the woodwind winner, the Tunbridge Wells Arts Festival where she was awarded the Alison Macfadyen Award Cup for Outstanding Performance, and the CASSGB Young Clarinet Soloist Competition where she was a finalist.
