Pathos Saxophone Quartet

Italy

The Quartet brings together four outstanding saxophonists who have honed their artistry at the Italian Saxophone Academy, studying with world-renowned masters such as Federico Mondelci, Arno Bornkamp, Silvio Rossomando, and Daniele Comoglio. With Academic Diplomas from the prestigious Conservatories “D. Cimarosa” in Avellino and “G. Martucci” in Salerno, the ensemble unites the expressive power of the entire saxophone family—soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone—into a vibrant and versatile musical voice. Their excellence has been recognized with major accolades, including the First Absolute Prize with scholarship at the 15th Filadelfia Music Competition 2024 in Tropea (Italy) and a third-place award with scholarship at the 2025 Lams Matera Award (Italy). Dynamic, refined, and artistically compelling, the Quartet stands out as one of the most promising ensembles of its generation.
