Patryk Skuła
I began my musical education at the Music School in Myszków, playing the trumpet. Then, I continued my musical journey at the 2nd grade Music School in Częstochowa, where I played the euphonium. After four years, in 2022, I changed schools to the Music School in Leszno. In 2023, I passed the entrance exams to the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, joining the class of Mateusz Kurek. I have collaborated with the National Wind Orchestra in Lubin and the Sudecka Philharmonic in Wałbrzych. I also participated in many international workshops. I was a participant in CORNO 2024, all four editions of the International Symposium of Tuba and Euphonium Players in Poznań. I also took part in eight editions of the Żywiec Trombone Festival, six editions of Brass Academy in Kalisz, and Low Brass Days in Riga. I honed my skills under the guidance of Øystein Baadsvik, Gene Pokorny, Mauro Martins, Jannicke Eide Ellingsen, Robbert Vos, Janis Retenais, and Ronald Szentpáli. To gain professional experience, I participated in the Orchestra Symposium in Poznań, where the classes were led by Johan De Meji. I am currently collaborating regularly with three orchestras: the Leszno City Wind Orchestra, the Środa Wielkopolska Wind Orchestra, and the Meastoso Wschowa Orchestra.
