Quartetto Momus

Italy

The Momus Quartet was founded in 2025 from the meeting and collaborative spirit of four clarinetists, who decided to bring this project to life after sharing the same study environments and part of their educational path. The ensemble’s aim is to introduce the versatility of the clarinet and the wide range of repertoires it can embrace to as broad an audience as possible.

The ensemble features the entire clarinet family: E-flat clarinet, B-flat clarinets, basset horn, and bass clarinet. The quartet is composed of Alessandro Schiavetta (clarinet), Irene Zarba (clarinet and E-flat clarinet), Luigi D’Amelio (clarinet and basset horn), and Giovanni Pignedoli (clarinet and bass clarinet).
