Ramon Civit Mas

ramon civit was born in Spain. He studied violin, saxophone, pipe organ, piano, solfeggio, harmony, etc. before being admitted to Conservatory of Barcelona. After graduating from the Conservatory, he studied two master's degrees at two different universities.

His research works revolve around the musical influences of jazz on European music at the beginning of the 20th century. In addition, he has researched and developed his own method for teaching music theory and piano for music students in their early years: “Musical learning on a blank sheet.”

In the field of musical composition, some of his works have been published, mainly piano compositions. His style is an amalgamation of European influences and jazz rhythms and harmonies.

He has won awards for piano performance and musical composition, both national and international.
